Stillness

Embracing Stillness: A Path to Hearing God's Voice and Discovering Your Promised Land

As women on a journey of faith, it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of daily life. But amidst the chaos, there's profound beauty in the stillness—a place where we can truly hear the voice of God speaking to our hearts.

One week ago, I embarked on the "miracle morning," a book & practice that has already brought about profound impact and revelation in my life. Through simple obedience and the discipline of being still, I've experienced a depth of connection with God that I hadn't known before because I wasn’t doing it daily. (I highly recommend the book that inspired this practice, by the way.)

Each morning, I devote time to reading the Bible, exercising, practicing silence to listen to God's voice, visualizing, decreeing affirmations, and journaling—all for about 10 minutes each. In the quiet moments of listening and reflection, God has graciously poured out revelation upon revelation, filling my spirit with wisdom and understanding.

As I've immersed myself in the story of Moses in the book of Exodus, I've been struck by the profound parallels to my own journey. For the past six months, I've been declaring over my life that "I am Moses Leadership," and now I see those declarations coming to fruition. Through the completion of a rough draft of a 40-day devotional centered on freedom and the promised land, I'm witnessing God's faithfulness in equipping me for His purposes.

This devotional journey explores themes of qualification (Moses didn't feel qualified), divine calling (like Moses, we are called by God Himself), the covering of Christ's blood (our ultimate protection), the manifestation of miracles, signs, and wonders (God's power at work through us), and the importance of gratitude in our walk with God.

healing journey and promised land

As I continue to listen to God's voice and obey His leading, I'm filled with an overwhelming sense of purpose and motivation. Not only am I committed to completing this devotional, but I'm also inspired to create accompanying courses and Bible studies to guide others on their journey to the promised land.

In past blogs and reflections, I've touched on the importance of reaching our promised land—a place of abundance, freedom, and fulfillment in God. Just as the Israelites had to shed their slave mentality and embrace their calling before entering the promised land, so too must we be willing to let go of mindsets that hold us back.

Do you desire to reach your promised land? Do you long for a journey marked by breakthrough and destiny fulfillment? It doesn't have to take 40 years—it could be as short as 40 days. By embracing your calling and stepping into the plans God has for you, you can expedite your journey and walk confidently into your destiny.

Remember, you are called, you have great purpose, and God's plans for you are far greater than you can imagine. So, embrace the stillness, listen to His voice, and embark on the journey to your promised land with boldness and faith.
